Tasik and Its Meatballs

Tasik, the city with many interest. One of them is about culinary. Almost every city in Indonesia serve kupat/ ketupat as the special culinary when Ied, but people of Tasik prefer meatballs (baso) to ketupat. According to locals, meatballs is like a must culinary here, lunch, breakfasting, snack, and even birthday party they eat meatballs.

As a newcomer in Tasik, I curious about meatballs in Tasik. The first meatballs I tried is Baso Loma. It is located in Jalan Tarumanegara, or people say it Jalan Pengadilan, in front of Pengadilan elementary school. It is a quite small place, the parking lot is only can fit for 4-5 cars.

Arrive at 5 p.m. the counter is not so crowded. I ordered Yamin manis (fried noodle) plus baso campur (mix meatballs). After 5 minutes, the meatballs are coming. Tadaaa...here is the looks of Loma meatballs.

For me, the noodle is too sweet, don't know if the sauce is too much or eating while looking the sweet girl in other table :p, but the meatballs is good, not to soft, not too much flour or starch. It can be classified as "top markotop". The meatballs (include noodle and hot tea) is cost IDR 17.000. Not to expensive, doesn't it?

Grab it fast.
