Nowadays, city park is one of trending topic in Bandung. The major revitalize, build a lot of city park in Bandung. One of them, the latest park of Bandung is Great Masjid of Bandung Park. The park located in the center of city, in front of Great Masjid.
Many people visit this park, even before it finished. Before being "touched" by the major, this space is used by street sellers, homeless people, and for parking of public van. After approximately 6 months, the picture of the progress is uploaded in social media by the major itself.
The park is officially open at the end of December 2014. It can be reached by public transportation from Kebon Kalapa Terminal or by walking from Kebon Kalapa, it only 500 meters. Starting January 2015, the park is also the start terminal for Bandros (Bandung Tour on the Bus), which operated from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This park also have children yard. Many people bring their child to this park for running, playing, and
eat in the open space.
This park is equipped with solar cell lamp, outdoor synthetic grass, many chair for relax, and trees. The park add the open space in Bandung. Hope the people can keep the park clean, green, and flowering.
